YouTube Video VVVORHFfZlVYLVoxU2RQUFh0cE0xa2lnLmoxRHg0Q0M1T0dV After twenty-five years of waiting, countless obstacles, and moments of doubt, God finally does exactly what He said He would do. In Genesis 21, the promised son is born, and every word God spoke to Abraham and Sarah comes to pass.

This week, we'll see that God's faithfulness is never hindered by impossible circumstances, delayed timelines, human weakness, or unbelief. The God who kept His promise to Abraham is the same God who keeps His promises to His people today.

Join us as we explore one of Scripture's clearest reminders that God always does what He says and always fulfills what He promises. If He was faithful then, we can trust Him now.

What do you do when someone has deeply wounded you? In Genesis 20, God shows us a surprising path toward healing. Through the story of Abraham and Abimelech, we'll see that grace doesn't ignore sin—it exposes it, forgives it, and ultimately restores what sin has broken. Most remarkably, God often uses the very person who caused the wound as part of the healing. Come discover how the gospel calls us to forgiveness, reconciliation, and the kind of healing only God can bring.

Sam closes out the 17th chapter of Genesis with some captivating words as the Lord gives Sarai a new name, Abraham a new promise, and several powerful commands sprinkled in. We learn how Abraham's response to all this give us as christians a great example of how to follow God's word despite the difficulty, have utter dependence on God, and obey immediately.

This Sunday we step into one of the most dramatic moments in Abram’s life as two kings stand before him—one offering the blessing of God, the other offering the empty promises of the world. In Genesis 14:17–24, we’ll see how God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth, reveals Himself as the only true source of blessing and how Abram’s response calls us to trust God alone. Join us as we explore the Priest‑King Melchizedek, the counterfeit offer of the king of Sodom, and the transforming power of choosing the blessing that comes from God’s hand.

Hold Fast to the Promise
Genesis 12:10–13:1

What do you do when obedience to God is followed by hardship instead of blessing? In Genesis 12, Abram obeys the Lord, enters the promised land, and worships—only to face a severe famine that threatens everything God promised him.

This passage shows how fear of lack and fear of man can lead us to rely on human solutions rather than on God’s promises. Abram’s faith falters, but God’s faithfulness does not. Even when Abram fails, God intervenes to protect His promise and His people.

This sermon reminds us that God’s faithfulness is not dependent on our perfection. When trials come, and God’s promises seem uncertain, we are called to hold fast to our hope—because He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

Temporary Tents; Permanent Altars (Genesis 12:4–9)
In this week’s message, we follow Abram’s remarkable journey of obedience as he leaves Haran and travels into the heart of Canaan with his entire household. In a land filled with pagan worship, God appears to Abram and reaffirms His promise—a promise meant for Abram’s descendants.
Abram responds by building altars: lasting monuments of faith and public worship in the midst of a foreign land.
This sermon explores how God’s presence is most clearly experienced through obedience, drawing connections from Abram’s life to Jesus’ teaching in John 14–15 and the New Testament call to walk in step with the Spirit. As Abram lived in temporary tents but built permanent altars, we are challenged to examine what in our lives is meant to stay temporary—and what worshipful commitments God is calling us to make enduring. Join us as we reflect on obedience, God’s presence, and the boldness of worship in a world that often resists it.
